Baby Waits Has Arms and Legs

We are trying not to call the baby "it," so from now on, I will call him or her "Baby Waits," and use "BW" as an abbreviation.

Chris and I went in today for another check-up and ultrasound. The heartbeat today was much higher at 170 bpm. We were glad to see it going strong! We still haven't actually heard the heartbeat, but we have been able to see it beating on the ultrasound monitor.

During Week 7, BW started forming arm and leg buds, but the baby was so small at the 7-week ultrasound that you couldn't see them yet. Today, we got to see that BW really does have arms and legs! The head is on the left side of the picture, and just below the head, you can see two little arms, and two little legs at the bottom (on the right side of the picture).
